Arise Autism Center is seeking full time, part time, and contracted behavior analysts of all levels (BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs) to join our growing team! Our organization provides behavioral services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in a variety of settings including in home, in school supports, and at our new learning centers in Lake Mary and Sanford.

Our primary mission at Arise Autism Center is to use the principles of behavior analysis to improve the lives of our clients, their families, and our staff. Through our home and community program we serve individuals of all ages and focus on teaching our clients how to succeed in the natural environment. Programs target behavior reduction, teaching functional communication, language, social interaction, and daily living skills, and parent/caregiver training. We currently serve clients throughout the Orlando Area, with learning centers located in Lake Mary and Sanford.

We are looking for contracted employees that are positive and energetic with a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Registered behavior technicians in the home and community program provide direct services to clients and their families by implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis to improve the client’s quality of life. The home and community program serves individuals in the following counties: Brevard, Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, and Broward.

Job duties:

    • Implement individualized programs for individuals with autism that are based on the principles of ABA to increase communication, daily living skills, social skills, play skills
    • Modify antecedents/triggers in the environment as well as consequences for behaviors to decrease problem behaviors while teaching appropriate alternative behaviors
    • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to manage inappropriate or problematic behaviors when the occur
    • Consult with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to ensure the highest level of treatment integrity
    • Facility communication between caregivers, behavior analysts, and coworkers
    • Record data on client’s behaviors and progress on a continuous basis
    • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients, families, and coworkers
    • Maintain and respect client confidentiality

We are looking for part time and full time employees that are positive and energetic with a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities at our Center for Autism Research and Education (CARE)

Registered behavior technicians at CARE work one on one with children under the age of 6 years diagnosed with autism or another related disability. CARE is an Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention program that provides behavioral therapy using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to young children diagnosed with autism. Therapy is individualized for each client and focuses on improving language and communication, social skills, preacademic and academic skills, and challenging behaviors. Our highly qualified team includes BCBA-Ds, BCBAs, licensed psychologists, and Registered Behavior Technicians. Working in at a center like CARE is a perfect opportunity to learn about ABA as a treatment for autism, gain experience hours for practicum/internships, and make a positive meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.

Job duties:

We are looking for current BCBAs or those who will be sitting for the certification exam within the next 6 months to work as behavior analysts in our home and community program. Our home and community program at Arise Autism Center serves individuals of all ages that are diagnosed with autism or another developmental disability throughout Brevard, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Broward counties.

Job duties:

    • Conduct initial assessments, functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
    • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP)
    • Develop individualized programming to teach appropriate communication and prerequisite skills
    • Conduct parent training
    • Train and supervise behavior technicians on an ongoing basis
    • Collect and analyze client data
    • Make data-based treatment decisions
    • Communicate with parents and technicians on an ongoing basis
    • Provide appropriate documentation for services
